Park Rules

Here at Camp Sylvania, we have rules in place that everyone must follow to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests. You may receive a more comprehensive list of rules upon check-in.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and/or pets.
  • Guest assumes all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold park harmless from and indemnify park against the same.
  • The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
  • We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
  • All guests and visitors must register in the office upon arrival.
  • The speed limit in all areas is 5 MPH and will be strictly enforced.
  • All roads are one-way only.
  • No vehicles can block any portion of the roadway.
  • Vehicles may travel on roadways only and should never drive through empty lots. Parking allowed in designated parking areas only.
  • No overnight parking or storage of trailers, boats, jet skis or utility trailers is allowed in any area without arrangements with the office.
  • Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle in the park, including golf carts, utility vehicles, scooters, etc.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily, except for events organized by the campground, such as movies or karaoke.  These events generally take place only on weekends and may happen with little or no notice.
  • Please be courteous to other guests around you.
  • Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.  Low bass that carries is also prohibited.
  • Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the park.
  • Obnoxious behavior of any kind is prohibited.
  • Profanity or violence towards other guests or campground staff will result in immediate eviction from the park.
  • All visitors must pay a day pass fee and park in a designated area. The day pass fee covers one vehicle and up to 5 people.
  • Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. All visitors are required to leave by 8:00 PM.
  • Minimum stay requirements may apply.
  • The use of Firearms is prohibited inside the park.
  • The use of archery, paintball, slingshots, or air guns is prohibited.
  • Fireworks of any kind are prohibited.
  • Use of illegal drugs is prohibited.
  • Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction from the park.
  • Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Keep your valuables locked up.
  • Report any problems with your site or rental to the office immediately.
  • ATVs are prohibited in the park.
  • Do not throw trash or cigarette butts on the ground or in fire pits. Trash should not be burned in fire pits.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is not considered suitable for the serenity/safety of our guests or the park.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash and under the control of someone who can manage them.
  • No exotic or oversized pets are permitted. This includes horses, all reptiles, or large birds.
  • Pets may not be left outside unattended.
  • Pets should not cause damage to sites, this includes digging holes, wearing down grass excessively, etc.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
  • Park is not responsible for and will hold pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s).
  • Service animals must remain with and under the control of their handler at all times.
